New Adventures and Old Storms

He did it. He asked to be called out. Jesus called. He got out of the boat. He accepted the adventure. He walked on the water.

And then…the wind.

But wait…the wind was there before he got out of the boat.

The wind was there when he asked to be called out of the boat.

The storm was already raging. He knew that. He knew it. He felt it on his face before he even stepped over the edge. He saw the waves before he ever planted one foot on top of them. The water he stepped out onto was not a smooth, glassy surface.

The adventure he asked to be called to included wind and waves before he even asked to go…
