Hedging the bets with Motherly Love

Reality will set in when the muscles begin to speak.

Unable to breath before the minute was up.

No one said running was for wimps.

Now I wish I had not waited so long to start.

I did make it thru day two of training without a splitting headache.

Now I have incentive to keep pressing toward the prize.

Gracie and Emily are both underwhelmed with my training routine.

They will be schooled on December 14th.

How many miles is a 5K?

Every second will count if I am going to beat them to the finish line.

Reality may kick in at about the 2nd mile.

A mom should LET her kids win the race.

Cheering them on from behind would be okay.

Every child should be given a chance to win!  🙂

  1. Lisa says:

It’s not winning if someone lets you win. RUN!
