I went to the eye doctor today. I’ve been having a weird headache and very light-sensitive eyes. By the end of the day, my eyes are ready to rest and I’m ready to read. Well, the good news is all the tests they do on your eyes to make sure they are healthy came back fine. I got to see a picture of the inside of my eyeballs compared to one taken years ago…no change you can see. You can’t look at my eyes and tell they have changed, but they have. They may not look any different but they look at things differently.
I started thinking about the ways my life has changed over the past 2 years since I’ve been to the eye doctor. I don’t look much different either, but I can guarantee you I look at things differently. Fortunately, THAT vision has become clearer instead of blurrier over time. And unlike my eyeballs, what is on the inside HAS changed over the past two years to go along with the change in vision.
In other news…Safe Eyes does not think it would be appropriate for me to look at images of eyes…I guess eyes aren’t safe.
